There is a bacteria giving off the hydrogen sulfide. One option would be to take the top off the well and pour down a qt of bleach. This bleach will kill the bacteria in the well and in your system for about a month. Your problem is often in the hot water heater, which can also be fixed by increasing the temperature of the water heater. In florida the temperatures are likely high enough that you also have an issue with the pressure tank.

Try adding the bleach and see if that helps for a while. You can also replace the rod in your tank with one that doesn't promote the bacteria problem (don't just remove the rod or your tank will go bad more quickly). You can get rods made of different materials, and some do not promote the bacteria.

Remove the magnesium rod in the hot water heater. Th e bacteria in the water is reacting to the magnesium rod and making the water smelly. There is also a whole house water filter that you can add onto to your water line that helps with that as well. We did both. Removed the rod in the water heater. And installed a whole house water filter. We use carbon filters. It helps remove odors and tastes.

The smell is caused by hydrogen sulfide H2S(rotten egg gas) which is present in well water in many areas of the country. There are systems which will remove the H2S from your water. I would suggest contacting a company that drills wells. They should know suppliers of these systems. I would not suggest that you remove the magnesium anode from your hot water tank. It is there to protect the inside of the tank from corrosion. The magnesium will not react with bacteria to product sulphur compounds.
