Looking for a specific harry potter fanfic?

The story is hp/ss, and starts off with harry accidentally bonding the two of them together by doing a potion or spell that he doesn't know the name of-he thinks it has to do with animals. Sirius and Remus are together in this story also. Harry and Severus must stay close at all times, and I think they were able to talk to each other telepathically. Harry is also the more powerful of the two in the bond, and must complete the bond by cursing severus until he says please. I think I last saw this on snitchfiction.net before the site disappeared. If anyone else knows where I can find this story I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I normally never read fanfics like that but I did read one, I think the only hp/ss fanfic I've ever read and it was exactly like the one you just described. I'm sorry to say I can't remember the name or author but it was on Fanfiction.net that I read it. I didn't even read the whole thing because like I said, not my fav ship.

On fanfiction you can narrow down the fanfics by ships and genres and even maturity ratings and word counts. I don't know if you've tried there already but if not it's a good place to start looking.

I'm not sure where to find all these points in one story, but they definitely got me thinking about situations/plots in the series of the Harry Potter books. Here are my ideas....

When you mention the bond and an accidental spell, the first thing I thought of was Voldemort's botched Avada Kedavra curse on Harry. Another bond is that of Snape and Narcissa, the "Unbreakable Vow" they make in the half Blood Prince. The part about the animal, to me, reminded me of Harry at the zoo talking to the snake, as Voldemort is able to do. As for Sirius and Remus, they are both introduced in Prisoner of Azkaban, and in the Order of the Phoenix we see them along with "Scabbers" and James Potter as students at Hogwarts. Lastly, they are both present at the final battle where Sirius is killed, but I couldn't really come up with anything more than they are both important to Harry due to their friendship and almost brotherly relationship with James.

I found the part about Harry and Severus pretty interesting. I wondered about the Occlumency lessons that Harry takes in Order of the Phoenix. Throughout that book, Snape is certainly able to access Harry's thoughts (using Legimency, if he wishes to), and it states numerous times that Harry wonders if Snape is reading his mind. Plus, after Harry sees Snape's memory of James torturing him when they were teens, Harry is well aware of the fact that Snape actually has a vulnerable and human side, albeit a small one. Snape feels threatened knowing Harry has seen this lighter side of him. Having said that, I'm pretty sure James was cursing Snape in the memory, telling him he'd let him go if he said please. That's when Lily came along and told James to grow up and leave Snape alone (Snape of course coldly replies to Lily that he didn't need her pity). It could also mean the bond that Dumbledore and Harry have in the cave in Half Blood Prince. Harry must keep giving Dumbledore the potion, no matter how badly he begs him to stop, as he agreed to do exactly as Albus asks him.

I know that's a huge answer to your question, so I apologize for the amount of reading you've done LOL. I don't know if I'm right or totally way off, but hopefully I've helped you out one way or another. Who knows, maybe I've left a hint or a clue to put you on the right path to finding what you're looking for.
