If you read the news, you would think that one out of two homes in America have a For Sale sign in the front yard and every other home is listed in the Foreclosure section of the newspaper. Personally, I'm not seeing it here in Atlanta, GA. Besides the idiot homebuying markets such as LA, DC, Las Vegas, and Manhattan, is anyone else seeing a bust or is the media trying to "create" the news?

It has slowed a little in our area, but far from a bust.

There is no such bust.
It is only that people right now are not willing to pay the prices that the owners want, and the owners don't want to sell for less. So, house sales have slowed down. Eventually something will change, and sales will increase again.
