Definitely television characters. I think I'm stuck in an old episode of "The Twilight Zone", myself.

I don't even watch TV anymore because of the Barbie-like people on there.i'm a real person,and other Americans who see the stuff on there are. But everything that is put on television is usually nothing good and i'm sick of seeing it all.

Ha, i like your question.
Sometimes i feel that Americans are played up so much differently on TV that it is almost like we are TV characters! "We", of course, as in a sense of how other people and countries see us.
I think that the idea if "American" is just a make believe character that we watch everyday on our good 'ol TVs.

Of course they're real!! What did you expect, aliens?? My adorable gf is American.Smart, sassy, sexy, funny & utterly gorgeous.She's from Alabama so she's got that sexy southern drawl. She's just like any other regular girl, only she's my honey.Shes' got ideas, opinions, likes & dislikes - just like the rest of us.I guarantee you if you met her & she stayed quiet without speaking - you would put her as English like the rest of us.
As for her being a TV character well maybe she's Wonderwoman or Buffy or Scarlett Johansson.She's out-of-this-world to me, so there you go.
