All in the Family, Gunsmoke, and although not a nationally-broadcast show, The Southern Sportsman. I'd like to see maybe The Food Network do a show like the latter. The host, Frank White, always had a good hunting or fish show, and at the end, he'd share a good wild game or fish recipe. He also had one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, and it too, unfortunately, is no more.

Definitely Firefly and Buffy (go Joss Whedon!).
I really have no idea about the 3rd though. Maybe Fresh Prince of Bel Air....:^)

Firefly, the NHL on a normal TV station, and Roseanne; I loved Roseanne with something bordering on fangirl worship.

Popular (1st season format), Sex and the City, and The Mole (but in a slightly different manner).
