If you do buy one, try to get the owner to take and introduce you to clients. Also, I highly recommend learning Spanish if you don't speak it already-70% of landscape labor is Spanish speaking.

Start looking around, and spread the word let people know, surely there is someone that needs to sell their landscape company. Good Luck

Just be carefull. I ran into a guy that would promise the world to custoers and then sell the business. The person who buys it loses money and customers. Just get a binding contract first.

Talk to high-school and college kids who have started their businesses and are graduating; they might be interested in selling it instead of just dumping it. If you have the tools and stuff already, you might just offer them a few hundred dollars for thier customer list instead of trying to buy them out.
