There is no profound answer: that's just it...we are here. end of story. Everyone is constantly searching for the meaning of life. whoever said life had to have a meaning...we waste way too much time trying to analyze things instead of just doing.
You want to know why we are here: the answer is to be happy and make others happy. I am here because someone exponentially smarter than me decided that it was a good idea. We want to believe that we have destiny or fates or some kind of cosmic belonging. This is a question that lingers on the minds of the weak. What is my purpose? It is a question asked in futility, because even if there were some heavenly answer you would not recognize it if you found it. The best thing to do is forget about, be good to yourself and others, do the right thing 90 percent of the time, do the wrong thing when the other guy deserves it, put away fears and instead make morally-conscious and self-confident decisions.

Oh, man, talk about metaphysical... I used to believe that I wound up in this universe because my parents got down and funky during July 4th ceremonies back during the Summer of Love. I didn't know that my life had a meaning until I actually gave it meaning, though. See, it's about free will and individualism; I think, therefore I am. If I have a certain destiny, it's OPTIONAL. But I've observed enough coincidences to make me think that there's more to all this than just amino acids bumping together. And I also think that if we really were created/designed/whatever, then our creator is watching us to see what we'll do next.
Okay, I don't know if that made sense or not. But these days, to me, reality rarely makes sense.

To me, it's rather simple - the meaning of life still being defined. This can change with every passing moment (or, as you would typically observe, an orbital awareness within the third dimension of quantum-physical reality). What creates the necessity to pursue this purpose of definition? It's called curiousity, evolution, creativity, imagination, speculation, formulation, science, math, philosophy, psychology, the fact that we are still uncertain of who we are, and where we are going in this ocean of chaos. This gives us a reason to take a break, and feel ignorant every now and then. It also gives us a reason to rise up again when we've fallen, and know that when a man has nothing, that there is nothing holding a man back. To make something out of scratch is priceless, and it's spiration of spiritual derivation upon the spiraling madness of complex thoughts and rationalized sensations of hyperspatial reality/existientialism, to me, is more profound of an experience than one could possibley abstain from fathoming within eternal wisdom, and religious revelation, etc. :-p

i think its some sort of learning stage i dont beleive when we die thats it, i think we go on to something else. an if we dont learn in this lifetime we come back to it. im not religous. but if you were an you had many sins like killing someone god would not let you into heaven an send you back til you get it right lol. personally im not sure what happends when you die but im going to do my best in this life to have the best outcome

the meaning of life is death and the meaning of death is life. finding a meaning that is worthwhile and special helps you full fill your purpose in life. that is why we are here. we are here to find our own ind entity. to find out who really are . then you find your ability's and capabilities in life then you know what your purpose is then you share it with the world in what you know. then you die feeling that you gave someone hope and fulfillment makes you a better person and makes you in who you are and makes it a better place to live

god wants us to learn something. we dont know what yet, but dont you think its meesed up when people have no belief and wander the earth doing terrible things. i would rather believe in god and that there is a chance even if theres not. faith is probably what god wants us to learn and more.
