No--we're equal partners in a conversation. If he has a lot to say, I'll listen and respond. If I have a lot to say, he'll listen and respond.

My husband is a great man, but at least we both are equals.

No.. I believe it can go either way.. When I first met my husband, I introduced myself. And it went from there.
