they have more of the all time greats(Kobe, Magic, Kareem, West, Shaq, Chamberlain) than any other team. Also, they have the best fans like you and me =D

Who has the Most Championships ? Wouldn't that team be the best ? That being said , The Boston Celtics have 16 NBA Championships , and the Lakers have 14 , So until the Lakers pass the Celtics they are second best , I am only giving you the facts .

I don't think the Lakers are the best in the world, in my opninion. Sorry. But they were very good becuase of Shaq and Kobe. In 2005, when Shaq got traded to Heat, Lakers stats went down.

well...lets see, theyve played in 28 league championships...winning 16 (less than the celtics 18, 11 years of which they won when russell played)...they have a number of players in the top 50 of all time...certainly as an organization they rate up with the best...but the outright best, that can be debated...currently theyre in the process of rebuilding, personally I think theyre probably in the top 6 teams , should get the 4th or 5th seed in the west...kobe should be considered one of the top 5 individual performers throughout the league

they are one of the best teams...and 1 of my favorites. they have kobe, they had shaq, they have great teamwork...well kinda, awesome colors, awesome hometown.
