Okay... one I'm not sure whatever it is you're planning is even legal. Two, gases don't come out of the nozzle burning... if they did, the entire container would set on fire and explode.

You probably shouldn't be messing with gasses (in an aersol can or not) if you don't know that second fact.

I have both kinds of torches. The manufacturer claims they can't be switched. Most likely the nozzle size is the only key difference. Mapp is about 20% more than the same size propane in the stores in South Jersey. Torches are about 40% more for the Mapp flavor.

Mapp burns hotter. I am not aware that it can be bought in aersol type spray cans.

Mapp Gas

2200°C = 3992°F, for Propane/Oxygen
2927°C = 5300°F, for MAPP Gas/Oxygen

torch nozzles are specific to the gas that you plan to use. the price for the nozzles are generally the same regardless of fuel.

Bernz-o-matic is a primary supplier of Mapp gas in small quantities, usually available at Lowe's, Home Depot or local hardware stores.

Mapp is not sold in an aerosol form.

well this is going to be a good one. you can use the same nozzles for either gas. mapp gas is hotter but i can not give you an exact temputer because there is so many variables. such as nozzle sizes and flame settings etc etc. you can get mapp gas at most any quality hardware type store.
