They would have still won six ?? Oh, I forgot....this is coming from someone who thinks the Jackson 5 were more "iconic" than the Beatles.
Sorry to break it to ya, King.....the Bulls would have not won ANY titles in the 1980's. As a matter of fact, they wouldn't have even made it out of the eastern conference.
How do you think Cartwright/ Grant/ Pippen would do against Parish/ McHale/ Bird, all Hall of Famers. Or Moses Malone/ B. Jones/ Dr.J, two Hall of Famers. They couldn't even get past the Pistons (Laimbeer/ Mahorn/ Dantley).
And, if in the very unlikely event they DO make it to the finals, they get to face the Lakers with Kareem/ Worthy/ Green, two more Hall of Famers, plus Magic.
Yes, the Bulls did beat the Lakers in 1991, but this was not the 1980's Lakers with Kareem. And the Lakers were injured that year. And you probably don't remember Magic constantly taking MJ down low. Jordan did such a horrible job, they had to put Pippen on Magic in game two.
The overall quality of teams in the 90's, pales in comparison to the 1980's NBA. The Chicago Bulls of the 90's would struggle to win 50 games in the 80's, and not come anywhere close to a championship.

Depends on which Bulls team and how the game was called. If they allowed physical play, I don't think the Bulls could beat any Piston or Celtic team. If you remember what happened in 1991, they changed the rules from physical basketball to more finesse style of basketball probably to protect Jordan and maybe even assist him. If they allowed the rules to stay in place from the 80s, I would be surprised if the Bulls win any to be honest with you. Pippen would have all kinds of issues against those teams and Jordan couldn't do it alone.

they wouldnt have matched up well with the celtics frontcourt, McHale, Bird, Parrish or the Lakers frontcourt, Worthy, Kareem Magic etc. mike would have been a tough cover but cooper from the lakers would have smothered scottie...looks to me like the bulls would have lost close but high scoring games to both teams...just like they actually did until they started playing Phil's systems and the two above mentioned teams got old...

I don't thin they could have won 6. They would have won 4 instead.
