It's called "an act of random kindness".

Many folks get stuck on homework problems and need a little help - I oblige them when I can, (time permitting).

In doing so, it helps me to understand the subject even better than before.

No, other then smart-a*s remarks or opinionated answer to some questions, I don't think that we are trying to do anyone homework for them. Although it does appear a lot of people are to lazy to make an effort themselves.

I suggest where or what might be helpful for them to complete their homework and if I don't know about the subject enough to give a proper answer, I don't.

I thought yahoo answers was voluntary? Where does it say it is compulsory to answer the questions?
