Yeah I've heard this alot...It's not about the wedding cake really. When two people get married, a lot of responsibility comes for the woman. She usually works, then comes home to clean and cook dinner and do laundry which is really tiring. By the time she has finished, she either wants to relax for a few minutes, or just go to bed because she's wiped out. Also, when people get married, sex just doesn't seem as important anymore, so it slacks off.

It is a joke. I have heard wedding cake called "birth control", ha ha, very funny. *yawn*

Tell him then he shouldn't have had a cake.

I didn't have a cake at my wedding - guess what that means?

This does not always happen so he is stereotyping us as women and wives and this is not always correct. He is wrong here.

Sex drops considerably after marriage, especially when kids come along (one more reason not to have them). A smart wifey will not neglect her man's needs, or she will find herself alone while hubby is out getting what he needs on the side.
