Peyton Manning doesn't, Tom Brady does. I'm interested to know what the rest of the league does.

Manning doesnt really need one because he audiblizes so much....their offense isnt that complicated, anyway. You always hear the announcers talking about them running the same plays effectively over and over...they have plays they like to run that work for them, and when they dont, Peyton calls one of his own.

I'd imagine the playbands are more useful for rookie/young QBs or QBs on a new team or working under a new coach, in non-West Coast style offenses.

Brady wears one because he is too dense to even remember his last name. Manning doesn't wear one because he never listens to the coach, only to his dad. And as for the rest of the league, only young/dumb QBS need them. Crafty veterans/good QBS don't need them. End of story.

I would have to guess that most do as they have not played in the same system for years like Manning, nor are they such students of the game.
