Quit cold turkey 19 years ago today, I know what you mean. It took about 6 months to stop getting that feeling

Yes i have given it up for 1 year and 8 days now
I still crave now and then especially when i come home from shopping etc
but not enough to start back the craving only lasts a couple of seconds but your right because of this new smoking law
That's all we see it must be agony for people who are struggling to give up being constantly reminded

It's hard at first, but be strong. My weakest moments were when I'd smell someone else smoking on a cold winter day....weird I know, but I still conquered it and its been over 4 years now! The cravings were strong for about a year or 2, but they eventually dwindled.

I gave up over 10 years ago and still get cravings, and sometimes dream I'm having a cigarette. You just have to live with it. The thought of drastically reducing my chances of getting cancer, heart disease etc keeps me going. Oh, and the smugness, is fantastic!!!
