If they are smart there will be a new QB in Chicago! How about Donavon McNabb,Philly really likes Garcia,so why not trade for McNabb. He is a proven winner, plus he handles pressure a lot better than Grossman.Lovie Smith with McNabb as QB would take Da Bears back to the Superbowl!

Grossman will stay as the starter, but Lovie is sure to have his eyes open for a new starter. So, I doubt Grossman will be the starter by the end of the next season. I've seen plenty of young, inconsistent quaterbacks in the NFL. After a couple of years they're always playing for another team.
I guess you can sum it up with thinking of a picky girl. Think of an NFL team as this girl and the Quarterback as her boyfriend. If she's not getting enough to meet her needs, she'll stick to him until someone better is available.

If they do it will be Drew Bledsoe. I could see the Bears trading Grossman to the Cowboy's for Drew Bledsoe. If the Bears get really lucky the Falcons will release Mike Vick. Or it's possible for them to pick up Troy Smith in the draft at the end of april. So i guess i dont see Rex being with Bears. Lovvie Smith might of said Grossman is are Quarterback but what does the city of Chicago have to say.

It's painfully clear Rex is not the QB who win will a SB for the Bears. If they stay with him, they will never reach the top of the mountain. My answer to your question is I hope so, but don't think so.

For the sake of Chicago...NO, but realistically yes he will be there one more year, and he will not even get them to the playoffs, their record will be either7-9,or 8-8. Then they will release him. Heck hes probably going to get injured in week 5 and sit out the rest of the season, and that will be last time he ever started in a game.

nope
rex grossman was drafted like in 2004?
if he was the starter this whole season, with that mediocore performance,
he'll be the starter until he starts throwing more ints than tds and they dont make the playoffs and they have double digit losses, only then will they switch, or draft a qb

Should they? Yes. Will they? No. Remember Lovie Smith's quote after the Vikes game at Chicago, "We are 10-2 and Rex Grossman IS our quarterback."

Does it matter? Poor Rex didn't lose the Super Bowl all by himself. The Colts ran the ball down their throats - might want to address that next year too.
