one year i did this project, and ended up winning 2nd place out of all the other people in my class. I tested different cleaners (pinsole,clorox, and lysol) to see how much bacteria they killed. i used petri dishes with beef gelatin i think and i would look at them every day for bacteria growth. my catch was, that i was also trying to see if tabasco sauce was as, or even more effective at killing bacteria as the household cleaners.

u can test which gum flavor lasts the longest or see if plants can grow in the moonlight just the way they do in sunlight.
