I'm going to get a new Hp Notebook from a program at my work but I'm wondering if it has WiFi. It doesn't tell me if it does nor does it tell me the model number. Here is the Description it gives me- The perfect laptop for both work and play, this HP Pavilion Notebook Computer is powered by an Intel® Pentium® Dual Core processor T2060 (1.6ghz) and comes to you with a 80 GB hard drive and 512 MB of memory. Your business applications, movies, and games will pop as never before on the 15.4" WXGA widescreen display. Windows Vista Home Basic OS.

I matched it up and I think I found it at Circuit City- http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=169874

If the system that you are describing is indeed the computer listed on your link, it does come with wifi. " Go wireless: Built-in 802.11g/b wireless LAN makes it easy to connect to most networks or wireless peripherals." that is in the online description.

Hard to tell for sure without a model number. A lot of the HP Pavilions look alike. I would say, if it's not in the description, then I wouldn't count on it. But, even if it didn't come with WiFi, wireless adapters are cheap. You can get a PCMCIA one (that slides into a slot on the side of the laptop) for about $40-50 or a USB one for about $30.

I haven't seen any new notebooks that don't have built-in WiFi and this one is no exception.
