The "lil teethers" teether tablets worked the best for my daughter. You can get them at any grocery store in the baby care isle. We also tried the baby orajel, that stuff tasted so horrible. A good temporary home remedy that I used as well is to freeze a wet washcloth and let her chew away. Hope your baby feels better soon.

My 5 month old just cut her first two teeth a few days ago. I have heard that babies may have pain and discomfort for about a month before the teeth actually come through. I used baby orajel (daytime and nighttime formula). Make sure you don't use too much as it can numb the back of the throat and cause choking on their own saliva. Also, baby tylenol. A cold wet washcloth(frozen or refrigerated) was something to chew on. Sometimes, just rub babyy's gums with your finger gently, the counter-pressure helps the pain and helps the teeth cut through easier. Give plenty of toys and stuff to chew on. Once the teeth are through, the pain goes away, but baby will chew everything because of the need to explore the new teeth! I hope this helps....good luck!

Although lots of people have said to use freezing teething rings MAKE SURE that they are the kind that can go in the freezer! Some of them or for refrigerator use only and you don't want them to break in your child's mouth. As for the baby oral gel, you have too remember that your baby is also drooling more and it may not even work for him/her. I gave my 6 month old who's teething some of these plastic soft books that are easy to clean that he chews on and also a refrigerated teething ring, which seemed to work better then the frozen kind because he could chew on it right away and it wasn't to hard for his gums and new teeth. Best of luck.

Well, I know most people say give them Oral gel but I was told by my daughter's doctor that it might help but it dose more damage to their gums than you know. And she told me to try the teething tablets their little and they dissolve right away in the baby's mouth.
And if your baby likes to chew on things they have these Popsicles teething toys that you can put fruit ice cubs or freeze some fruit juice in an ice tray and it will have a sweet taste to it.

Let the baby chew chew and chew some more! Give him/her a frozen waffle to gnaw on or a teething ring. Also my kids liked to chew on my knuckles! Use Tylenol at night to help them sleep and Baby Oragel works great too

Humphreys, you can get them at Walgreens or try a cold baby spoon. My six month old love to chew on cold spoons. Has your doctor suggested baby motrin to ease the pain when it gets really bad.

Try this homepathic remedy it is called hyland or humpreys I believe #3. It is available in the drug store and works better than any other stuff. Try it you will see. I used these on all three children. Works better than Motrin. Although motrin is a close second.

Humphrey's Teething Tablets. Put one under your baby's tongue and it will dissolve. Also, get a vibrating teether - it works miracles on my little guy!

Give her something hard to chew on. They have rings that you put in the freezer that work well. Also, baby orajel.
