After watching super bowl XLI or 41, I have come up with this question. Should future super bowls be outside? Weather is definitely an issue if you paid good money to sit and watch the game would you want to sit in the rain or snow? What do you think about moving the super bowl indoors to domes such as in New Orleans, or should they be played in stadiums with retractable roofs like Arizona Cardinals and the new Colts stadium?

Football is an outside game and most teams play outside, so most Super Bowls should be played outside. Teams and fans should always be prepared for poor weather if the game is outside. You can't tell me that the poor weather changed the outcome of the game as the dome team easily won.

Real football fans sit in whatever weather to watch games. Ask folks in Cleveland, Buffalo, Green Bay and Chicago.
I realize a good portion of the audience at the Super Bowl isn't there because of football but because it's an event, but if they can't take the weather they should go watch golf.

The Super Bowl is the ultimate challenge in football. You train your whole career for that game. A little rain or wind shouldn't effect you. You should be able to play through a hurricane for the money you make.

Well when you buy your ticket you know what you're getting into and that weather might be an issue. Same thing with all the NFL playoffs, and even regular season games. It's part of the fun of the game. Besides, a lot of players hate to play indoors, so I don't think it would be a popular choice.

Football is a man's sport...it's THE man's sport. All games should be played outside in the elements...blood, sweat, rain, mud, snow. Otherwise it would be called Soccer and would be a women's sport.

This is the first superbowl where it has ever rained(or so Jim Nantz said) so it doesnt happen that often. Sure play it outside.
