I don't know exactly what you mean.....if private property is destroyed and nothing is done to the person who did the destruction......then I figure there's going to be some chaos till rights and laws are respected and enforced. Otherwise....why own anything if someone can destroy it at will and nothing happens? What would be the incentive to work if you could just go take what you want with no consequence? People would turn on each other...it wouldn't be a nice place. I think people need a safe secure place with their things to be able to face the outside world and give them a reason to wake up each day and go through this thing called life.

You need to restate your question. There have been and are many societies in which there is no "private property," and the members get along quite well. If you mean "take a society that recognizes some or all property as private and declare all property is owned by everyone," you will have anarchy. If you mean "destroy anything that can be owned," then the universe will be destroyed.

Most societies achieve a balance between what can be owned by individuals, what can be owned by the state and what is not owned by anyone. Unfortunately, in the US, more and more property is being taken from individuals and governments and given to large corporations. It will be interesting to see what happens.
