You should probably go talk to a school conceler or an adult who listens. Don't think negative. Theres always a good side to almost everything. Do some hobbies you enjoy, or eat a favorite food. Ice cream usually cheers me up when I'm sad. Or even just spending some time with your friends can cheer you up.
Also, it would be best if your mom knew that your dad was a drug addict, because thats really terrible. If he ever offers, say no. Drugs will ruin your life.
I hope that overtime things will get better for you and your family.

Hello, I am so sorry you are depressed, especially since you are so young. I have never gone through what you must be going through, with your Father being on drugs, but I can imagine it must be heart-breaking for you. Have you got anyone you can talk to and tell that what is happening to your dad. Maybe you can solicit help for your dad by letting a mature grown-up, such as your family doctor know what has been happening. Talk to your Mom, if she does not know, she should know. She took vows on her wedding day, to be there "through better or worse". And this is one of those "worse times". Together you can get some help for your dad. Once you get some help for you dad, you will begin to feel better yourself. Please ask your Mom to take you to your family doctor for your depression, you could be suffering from some chemical in-balance. With the proper medication you will feel better in no time. Try to eat a balance diet of good nutritious food with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Talk to your family doctor or to anyone that might help you let go of fears,(your fear of what is happening to your dad), and anything else that is bothering you. You sound like a good child. Do not carry an adult's worry on your shoulders. You are too young, give some of those worries to your mom, and to God. Your mom and Dad love you and want to see you Happy. And God loves You.
God Bless...Will pray for you.

Hi! I am also depressed and I am only 1 year older than you. My uncle is a drug addict and I don't know my biological father. Are you having problems in school? Do you give & give & give & help & help & help and get nothing back, just made fun of? Are you laughed at because of the friends you have? If you give and help all you can then dont stop.
Also, if you tell a school counsuler then by the end of the year the whole school will know about your problems, it has happened to me before.
And one more thing, PRAY, PRAY, AND PRAY MORE!!!! You can e-mail me at gods_child1123@yahoo.com

First, figure out your feelings.
Then, share them with someone you trust! Like your best friend.
If they can't help you, go to school councelor.
If you're still depressed, talk to your parents.
At first just talk about general depression
Never mention "your friend".
Be honest, and slowly tell them how you feel.
If you're still depressed, maybe post another question on here, that states what happened.
Remember: never tell anyone anything before you're ready.
Also, remember you may be ready before you know it.

Try talking to someone like a teacher or ideally your mum cos she really needs to know about this and how its affecting your health or maybe see if your school has a counsellor that you could arrange to meet with.
