Nah. They can get together and raise some money, but that's about it. They've been doing things like this for years, and it really hasn't changed anything other than having the occasional song like "We Are the World" or "Give Peace a Chance" being overplayed to death on the radio. I generally think it's ridiculous when musicians try to be more than entertainers.

I'm not sure.It would really take A LOT to do that.Especially with all the indecency in the world. But that one song on John Mayer's album "Continuem" seemed like it was about how the middle class has to work so much they miss everything at home.Yet and still he's not giving away any of the money he got for that song so I don't think any middle class people are going to be coming home early any time soon. All in all I don't think so.
It would be nice,though!

No. Interesting choice for a video. I really like Neil Young and his music, but I don't completely share his political views. How could we "Keep on Rockin' in the Free World" if tell the people who are defending our right to rock to just come home and let people who hate all things American, including Rock and Roll, have their way with the world? Unfortunately there will always be war and poverty, because there will always be people who hate those who are different than they are, and there will always be people who believe that a hand-out is a better solution than learning to standing on your own two feet.
