These other fools know nothing about sports like I do and they sure as heck no nothing about Bobby P.

The Answer is no. Matt Schaub, the backup QB would have been re-signed. Instead he is a free agent. If Petrino wanted a drop back and pass QB then Schaub would be his man.

Petrino is an offensive mastermind. He will use Vick's talents unlike any coach yet. 3 years ago he took a QB at Louisville named Stefan Lefors. He was a running QB like Vick, but Petrino used his talents and helped guide Louisville to a 12-1 season while Lefors had the best QB rating that year. (Better than Matt Leinart).

You can expect Vick to throw verticaly alot more this year, but Petrino will use his gifts to pick apart defenses.

For the short term I don't see the Falcons trading
him. I think he can adapt to the new coaches system.

Michael Vick has many physical gifts, I enjoy
watching him run. However, in my estimation
it is quite a sorry affair when a quarterback rushes for a thousand yards. That tells me that quarterback cant rely on his receivers, or his
offensive line.

The Falcons should trade for some help on that
offensive line, get a couple of big play receivers.
Gradually as Michael Vick stays in the pocket, The
Falcons will garner more yards. More yards generally leads to more touchdowns, and everyone knows more touchdown wins football games.

It would be nearly impossible to trade him even if the orginization wanted to. He has the biggest contract in the league which would make it hard for them to find two guys that people would be willing to trade for Mike Vick. Also, he's really not very good. I wouldnt trade for him.

No. Reason is because he is the highest paid QB in the league right now and to trade him is way to much money for a team to pay. Unfortunately for the Falcons they have a better QB in Matt Schaub but he will not see much playing time as long as Vick is there.

No, if you think the Falcons are bad now just see how bad they would be if they had to take the salary cap hit that trading Vick would bring.

Not this year but very possibly after next year. I think the Falcons should trade now when they might be able to get something in return rather than wait until the end of next season when it will be clear to all that he is not worth much.

I think that Michel vick will never be traded because without him, Atlanta would be nothing + He is the highest paid player on the team

No, not even thinkable. He is bringing in some negative things off the field, and sometimes on the field, but he adds another demension to the Falcons offense. If your gonna get rid of a Falcon player, get rid of a WR. Have you seen how many passes they have dropped?!?!?!
