This one can easily imagine a child understanding such! My daughter thought than an appendix was an "independence" and she was worried that I might have to have mine removed! Once, when I told her that a young woman we know from a local restaurant probably had many young men chasing her, my daughter said she hoped the young lady in question was a fast runner (and I think her daddy hopes so too!)
