If you're talking about venting inside, house fires being a health concern, yes, it's a health hazard. If you have to vent your dryer inside, use a water trap; lint will build up in all sorts of places in your house; I worked on a house where the outlets were full of lint. That's a fire begging to start. It has to be vented outside.

I vent mine into the cellar into a bucket with water in it so any lint gets blown into the water. A gas drier produces more humidity than an electric. Humidity does create mold but I don't have any problems. Lint buildup can be a fire hazard. Gas dryers can be a carbon monoxide hazard if obstructed.

Not as long as you vent it to the outside. Don't be ghetto and try to heat your house with it or anything!
