I have this friend that I've had for around 2 years now. Lately, she's been immature, annoying and plain old just being rude. She refuses to share anything with me, when I share with her all the time. She uses this baby voice and also tells all my secrets to my ex boyfriend, which makes me even more mad. My friends tell me to start ignoring her, but she likes to talk to me a lot about stuff.
What do I do if she asks me why are we fighting? How do I say it nicely, but so that it gets the point across? help!

Say that what she has done isn't easily forgivable, and tell her you just want to go separate ways.

first of all be blunt with her (that don't mean you have to be rude, remember you don't want to start acting like her) let her know what she's doing and how it's making you feel and that if it continues then you two will no longer be friends. Don't try to sugar-code anything cause you want to get your point across. if after you tell her all this and she continues doing the same thing then i would say drop her...simply ignore her. and don't start talking bad about her or start spreading rumors; I know you're better than that. if she's a true friends she will take your feelings into consideration and STOP. this in a way is a test of your friendship. Tell her, you CAN do it, I'm rooting for you. LOL. hope i can be of some help.

First of all, I will have to disagree with what tayuyasdirge said about not easily forgivable. Anything can be easily forgivable if you let it be. It is probably not her fault. Maby she is depressed or something is going on in her life that she is not telling you about.
But dont start ignoring her, stay her friend and try not to start fights with her and go with what she says if a fight does start.

Heres the point, STAY HER FRIEND AND HELP HER!!!

I've had this problem before. Yes your friends are right, just ignore her. BUT before you blow your top off, take a deep breath and say it in the gentlest way ever "I'm sorry but I don't wan to be your friend anymore." She might do the following as a reaction: cry, get angry, sober faced and so on. It might hurt but at least you told her rather than kept it bottled up.

Buy her a nice card and write in the card:
Dear so and so,
I had so much fun with you these two years but I am going through some changes in my life that do not include you. This change has nothing to do with you, it's me. I just need to focus more on my life and goals right now. It was nice knowing you but I just can't be friends with you anymore. Please do not respond to this letter.
Peace, Your name

You should tell her exactly how you feel! Tell her what wrong. and whats on your mind..ignoring her and not telling her how you feel is being immature. You should stand up and tell her you don't like the way your attitude is. In fact tell her what you just posted!
