a few are: If a person is aware if they are making sense or not or just blabbing, Understanding verbal messages and nonverbal messages(facial expression to name one) and using them effectively, Listening to the other person, Responding to that person, Communicating in a group changes everything, Adapting to one's communication style, You want to communicate what you are thinking about something/someone. Basically the whole thing is for someone else to indirectly experience your thoughts or feelings.
