No, Obama is a colossal rookie. I'm amazed we're even talking about him so much

They would make a great team if Obama agreed to be her running mate, though I doubt it.
There are a lot of mean hearted juveniles on this site who say they hate her, but they are just repeating gossip they've heard elsewhere without knowing what they are talking about. The real truth is that the polls show at this time that Hillary Clinton is ahead of all the other candidates by 30 pts. The reason:
Her experience, her intelligence, her strength, her determination, her ability to stay focused, her sense of self & ability to forgive. Her hard work & accomplishments (and yes, there have been many if you care to do some research with an open mind).
I do think she will make a formidable presidential candidate & a stellar president.

I would prefer a variation on this concept: John Edwards as President and Barack Obama as vice president. Clinton and Obama appeal to too many of the same kinds of people. If she gets the nomination, you know she's going to get the votes of liberals, blacks, north-easterners, etc. Obama appeals to basically the same crowd. With Edwards you have at least a chance at picking off a southern state or two (Democrats aren't that far away from winning Florida and Arkansas, among others), and Edwards has much greater appeal among working people than the other two. If you are surprised I'm pushing for Edwards at the head of the ticket, just watch what develops. Though he doesn't have the high numbers Clinton does at this point, neither does he have the built in negatives. She has a very large percentage of the electorate who would never under any circumstances vote for her. Edwards has a much better shot at changing minds.

I don't see either of them making that decision at this time. Both want the Presidency in their own right.
If either get the Democratic nomination, then they might pair up to make a team for a run at the White House.
However, it is some time until the election, so anything could happen.
It could be that neither sees the other as a good match up, both have their problems with the voters. Obama, because he is black & Clinton because she is a woman. So it could be that neither would get the nomination. Not probable, but could happen. The Democratic party wants to win, they will go with the one they think will put them back in the White house. As it stands now Clinton is ahead, not by all that much, but still ahead of Obama. It could change.

I dont think she'd pick obama. if she's the nominee she would likely win california and new york by a large margin and other states but the electoral college is a big factor in choosing a running mate so to win the south and texas and midwest states and florida etc.
I dont know who she'll choose but i think the idea that she would run with obama makes it too gimmicky for my taste. plus i just dont think she'd do that; i mean who is he... she'll pick a good vp and it will be someone she knows well and can compliment her as prez.
the better question is who do you think hillary will pick as vp.
just letting you guys know she is going to be the nominee so better get to backing her now. :)

You hit on my thoughts exactly. I have been hoping for some time it would shake out as Clinton/Obama. As you said, he satisfies those who cite his inexperience by being VP for eight years, then he can run on his own with invaluable experience behind him. I believe Hillary will get the nomination and if Obama is willing, I can't imagine her not turning to him for VP. She may want Bayh, Edwards won't do a run for VP again IMO. I believe they would be unbeatable as a team. Just the thought of it brings a huge smile to my face and hope to my heart.
Clinton/Obama '08 (Just LOOKS right doesn't it?) :)

I'll say that I'm rooting for Obama, but personally, I think gets one of those "does not play well with others" sign. Maybe she'll request not to have a VP. :)

They would be a great team to move this once great country closer to the gross hell that is socialism.
They would be a great team to increase the limits on what free people can do and to increase the amount of money stolen from nice families.
Don't get me wrong, the republicans aren't much better.
