I have been having such a hard time with this too! My son is 13 months old and although I am still breastfeeding I am also giving him whole milk. I started him on it a month ago and ever since he has had a bad diaper rash and horrible, stinky, runny acidy poops. I have tried EVERY product out there in the stores and nothing works. I let him run around nakie for about 10 minutes or so everytime I change his diaper. Im a SAHM so im constantly right there and know exactly when he is going poop and I change him the minute he is done. Im not sure if he is allergic to the milk so I am stopping it for a few days to see what happens. My son Dr also gave us nystatin and it doesnt work for anything! Im thinking of asking for the new stuff called vusion(sp) to see if that works. But oatmeal baths, air, sunlight, creams, powders, corn starch, vaseline all of it hasnt helped. And its getting BAD I mean it is totally red and blistered. He doesnt even want to sit in a bath and I even started to use a wash cloth because of the alcohol in the wipes.... NOTHING. Its so frustrating. I need help too....

Why did you put a diaper on your cat in the first place? You are going to have to bathe her, like it or not. What makes you think if she hates baths that she won't hate having her rear end shaved? Give the cat a bath, deal with it.

First of all, was the cat supposed to be in a diaper? Secondly, if the cat was supposed to be in a diaper then you should have not left the cat alone, how else is it going to pee and poo?

My wife works at a vet clinic and you are going to have to take the cat into a groomer and probably since cats hate water, they might have to put the cat under and bathe the poor animal, and quite possibly have to shave parts of the cat.

Well, I don't think you should have put your cat in a diaper while on vacation. You wouldn't like it if your cat put you in a diaper and left you to sit in it.

As far as fixing this, well I guess shaving her (with an electric razor meant for animals) is probably your best bet if you can't get her in the water.

In the future, try to either leave your cat with a friend or have somebody come over to clean its litter box or board it with a vet.

Okay, first off, why did you put a diaper on your cat, that's not right, secondly, don't shave it, thirdly, just give it a bath, who cares if it doesn't like water! Trust me, I had 12 cats at once, 15 in all!

WHY did you put a diper on the cat...........of course you have cat ****...........it had not where to go. Is your animal not litter box trained. If not, that is the first thing you need to do. If you can't wash the cat............take it to the vet and let them sedate it a little and wash it. You did it..........you should clean it. DO NOT shave the cat. Their butt will itch and it may do damage to it's anal glands..........sounds like you don't know how to handle a cat anyway......therefore, YOU should certainly not try to shave the cat.

I cannot imagine that the animal will be more tolerant of shaving than of water.

Take a comb and get a bit of water and pet shampoo on it. Gradually brush out the accumulation. You do not want to irritate the skin.

Diaper on a cat? Maybe you should get a picture of a cat until you get a clue.

You need to give the cat to someone who will take better care of it.
