That depends where you live. If you are in LA, one inch of snow would create havoc. If you are in Buffalo or in Denver, one inch is not even worth mentioning.

Schools here only close if the furnace breaks down. -40 degrees the schools stay open. Schools here do not close for any amount of snow. Do the schools there really close for 1" of snow? We never have "snow days".

Depends where you are. if you are in the southern states, snow is pretty rare and you will probably get the day off for the novelty of it all. If you live in the north, like here in Ontario, we have three feet right now and all the school buses are running here.

if you live in Colorado, one inch is nothing! Hell, one foot may be nothing. Colorado schools close quicker on snow days compared to 10 years ago when even a blizzard wouldn't be a good enough reason.

depends what state you live in. i live in IL and we rarely have a snow day. i also spent a few years in Virginia...and one inch would close the schools. BUT>>>>>i ALSO lived in Alaska. schools wouldn't close for any amound of snow. :)

it depends where you are and how cold it is. there was no snow here and all of the schools were closed because it was so cold.

YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!! I live in Memphis and it was about an inch of snow here on Friday and we got out of school. SNOW DAY!!!!!!! and by ten o'clock it was alll melted. HAHA free day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
