How well would a snowboard completely made out of wood work? What are the pros and cons of an all-wooden snowboard?

Not too good i wouldent have thought i don't know much about different types of wood etc, but i would imagine the end product would be quite stiff so it wouldent be much good for freestyle riding. As for freerideing you could ride an all woulden board i suppose but there would be no point as it wouldent perform half as well as a modern carbon board would, as you still need some flex and an all wooden board would be quite heavy and alot harder to turn i would imagine.

there is no such thing as an ALL woden snowboard except maybe something someone in the ghetto put together. the best have wood cores, but as far as i know, (and as far as snowboarding goes, i know a good amount) no company makes an ALL wooden board

well if you fall on it you will get a splinter on your butt... and it has no ware near the amount of flex and pop that a carbon board has.
