Do you agree or disagree, to understand the relationship and communication between African-Americans and the White culture in the United States, we need to study that relationship as it has evolved over time?

Yes, I agree. Our history is essentially our culture. Our culture is defined really by events that have happened in the past and will be changed by the events happening now and in the future.

Relationships between races defines a large part of our culture

Just look at 911 - The hatred that that event sparked against people of arab decent. Slavery defined our relationship with African Americans for almost a century. That is bound to have an impact on how our relationships are now.

Yes it has, the communcation between whites and blacks is much more equal then it has been. Although there are still inequalities between the two races but for the most part, blacks are treated with respect unlike in the 1960s
