It is so simplistic! Since Iraq's population is predominately Shia
Iran obviously would agressively aid their fellow Muslims!
Wasn't Bush in fact expecting an Iranian response? Wasn't Iran the target all along?

Along with Syria, yes. Iraq is meant to destabilize the entire region. Research the PNAC (neocon) agenda; preemptive war on multiple fronts. Its about oil, exporting democracy and contracts for American companies. This was planned before 911and even before the neocons took control in 2001. The "war on terror" has become the advertising slogan.

It has been a carefully thought out and executed strategy from the start. Iran is the last piece of the puzzle. First take down Afghanistan, then Iraq, and you have Iran surrounded. Provoke Iran into the fight and you have the American people behind you once again, and Hegemony over Persian Gulf Oil will be complete. Bush said in his apology speech that Iran would be next, and Cheney has been saying it for a long time. The trick is to get Americans to believe it is necessary. That will be their next trick at BushOilCo, to convince us of that. Watch to see how they try.

I don't think so... we had probably more reason to invade Iran than we did Iraq in the first place... actual links to 9-11... working on Nuclear program...

I mean... it's possible... but 500 billion is a bit much to pay for an excuse/base that wasn't even needed...

Yep, ya got it. The single largest supporter of international Islamic terrorism, Iran. Iraq was merely a beachhead a place to house our troops and weapons. Oil fields to fuel the machines of war. What is on the eastern border of Iran? Afghanistan. Is George Bush an idiot or a brilliantly evil madman. When you destroy Iran you end Islamofacism. The rest will curl up and hide for the next 100 years until we have to smack them down again. Brilliant!

It is about the entire REGION. To ensure harboring and funding of radical Islamic fundamentalists is not condoned in the region. We had acceptable reasons to take out Saddam so that was the first step of a bigger picture.

Ummm, I hope not after all the lives we've lost and the $$ that's been spent in Iraq. I thought it was just a misguided effort on the part of our fearless leader.

It was until the war became so unpopular. Bush was hoping for 3 sovereign nations invaded so he could really go down in history as pulling something off. I think he got so carried away with doing his Zionist leaders biddings he just lost direction.
