I currently work for Gamespot, and we, in fargo, nd, do not accept checks. Though it all depends on the city and state laws. Like our neighbors to the north, minnesota, they can accept checks. Give em a call first, and tell em' the fargo boys said hi! Happy gaming!

I'm sure it varies from gamestop to gamestop. Mine does, but there's probably a bunch who take cash or credit only.
