Your question is very broad. You can buy any stock online by establishing an account with any number of online brokers such as Schwab, TDAmeritrade or Scottrade. All .com sites. Setting up accounts very easy. The difficult part is picking a stock to buy. There are 1000's of companies, 1000's of stock brokers, 1000's of mutual fund managers who spend their daily existence trying to find the right stock.

Unless you want to spend the time and effort to research individual stocks, highly suggest you look at mutual funds which focus on internet related activities such as online companies, semiconductor companies, equipment manufacturers etc. It's a big universe of stocks all related to the internet.

As a starting point, look at mutual fund called Buffalo Science and Technology..symbol BUFTX as a starting point. Stellar fund with experienced manager with an excellent track record investing in many technology related companies. Single investment gets you into dozens of individual companies in one category. Instant diversification with very little effort.

Last but not least, suggest you go to morningstar.com. Tons of free info on stocks or mutual funds. Can subscribe for more info than most folks can understand or digest for +$100 a year.

It's your money...do your homework!

Good luck!
