Yeah. I had my parents move away, my brother move away, and my sister got married (and was spending all her time with her husband) all within a couple months time frame. May not be a big deal to anyone else but it felt awful to me. I was really depressed and very unhappy and no one seemed to notice or care. Then I met my boyfriend and he already could tell how much I felt abandoned and was such a help to me even in the very beginning when I didn't really know him yet.

I am fortunate to have a family who has always been there for me - when I dropped out of law school, after various arrests (drug or drink related)- when I get seriously ill. My family is always there for me.
