Sure, give him a present. If he is your new boyfriend, don't give him anything creepy (like a bear that says, "I love you forever!" when you sqeeze it, haha).
Go for something small that you know he would like--like a DVD of a movie he likes (so you can watch it together) or making him some of his favorite cookies.

Last year, I had just started dating a guy I knew for a few years. I quickly crocheted him a blanket in time for Valentine's day. He gave me a heart-shaped necklace and flowers. (We've now been married for 6 months)!! So, yes if you are feeling for this guy, then you should try to show it. If things are still calm and cool, then maybe something simple, like a card and candles with dinner.

Do what you want to do. As a guy, I'd hate to think you gave me a Valentine's gift because you were told you "should", and from people on Yahoo Answers no less. If you don't want to give him one, DON'T, for his sake if not yours. God Bless you.

Sure!! you can give him something special, such like:
you can learn how to speak "I Love You" in several languages and record in mp3 then send to him, I think that's a gift so moving!!
here is a link of "I Love You" in 100 languages. if you like~~ :-)
