Well, you already said it yourself..Spanish is considered white, Mexican is not considered white. The reasons for this, though blurry, are that the U.S. concensus declares that any people of European blood are Caucasian, thus making Spanish people caucasian. Mexicans are of mixed genes, they are usually "mestizos" meaning Spanish and Indian mixture. As you know history, originally the Mexicans were Aztecs and other tribes of Indians, and the Spanish conquerors took over their land and had sex with the women, thus making what Mexicans are today---a hybrid of Spanish and Aztec or some other Indian tribe. However, some Mexicans are of more Spanish descent---as is obvious with the blue-eyed, light-haired, light-skinned ones, and some are mixed mainly with Indian blood and hardly any Spanish blood, as it is obvious with the darkly-complected, dark-haired and dark-eyed ones who sometimes can have almost an Asian look because of their almond-shaped eyes. Natives are distantly related to Asians. Spanish people can also have dark eyes and hair however, but just not in the same way. In these mdern times, though, not all people from Spain are white, because as you know there are immigrants from other countries who live in Spain, such as people of African, other European, and middle-Eastern descent. And the same with Mexico, but just not as much as in Spain.

well, Spain and Mexico speak the same language, Castilian (Spanish) but if you notice, the difference of the language of these countries, is their dialect and different meaning of certain words. Also, there is some difference in the culture of these countries, but some are shared (as in Spain bringing them over to the new world [New Spain aka Mexico])Indeed both are Hispanic origin. Though I discovered that Spanish people are considered European, Mexicans are defined Hispanic or Latino (personally I don't like the term Latino) You did not offend me in any way, just trying to give you some knowledge that you might want to take a note of.

People from Spain are European. When Europeans discovered the New World there were already native people 'the Aztecs' living in what is now called Mexico.

i've got in no way met everyone above the age of 13 who did not be attentive to the version between Spain and Portugal and Mexico, Honduras, San Salvador, Argentina and Brazil, to call some. the main undemanding mistake adults make, i think of, is to assert that folk who stay in Mexico talk Mexican, while they actually talk Spanish, of course. it is like asserting human beings contained in america (in many cases) talk American. it is variety of dumb, yet not on the comparable point you posit.

None of them are considered white. They are both considered Hispanic because Hispanic is people of Spanish decent. Spaniards are not Latino, because they are not from Latin America.
