does nintendo wii have wifi? if it does is it free? can you connect through a wire less router?

Yes, the wii can use wifi. You can connect through a wireless router, or if you don't have that you can buh the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector, mine was about $35.
The wifi is free. You can brose the internet, check weather, news and theres also the Vrtual Console thing where you can download (with money) old games.

Yes it does. Got my son one for christmas and set it up to connect through the wireless router. Yes, it is free. It is built in to the wii.
