I love to point and laugh at the bad auditions. They did get too mean this year, but I'm glad those two got their 15 minutes of fame and some money out of it by getting agents and taking it all in stride. I watch the finals only if there is someone who really intrests me. I watched the year Carrie Underwood won, but not last year. The finals just did not interest me last year. Although I kind of do like Taylor's singing and it was nice to see something different than another beautiful young girl who would crank out more pop hits. I also think it helps the longevity of the show and record sales of winners if the show's winners are a variety of types of singers instead of the same type of pop singer cranked out every year.

I don't think they've gotten "meaner". The press has picked up on that and made a big deal of it. It is still the highest rated show on tv.

I still watch it but it's not as good as the beginning seasons.

the first two seasons were good but its like the show survior it played out and stupid
