They have a very, very high chance on making the World Series and winning it.

In Baseball, we play 162 games, ANYTHING can happen in the world of Baseball, don't forget that! Who knows, there might be a surprise team, like the Rockies or Royals. Lol.

If those two teams were battling in the 07 World Series, i woulc laugh, and probably blow my brains out!!

Back to Detroit, yes they have so many good pitchers, ROY Justin Verlander, Bonderman, bullpen reliever Zumaya. There pitching is perfect. Gary isn't the "Watch out for him" Pitcher, but he is a high above average type of guy.

Don't forget the fact that last year, almost (if not all) of the Tigers hit 27+ Home Runs. If they repeat, they can win it all!!

The final 2 years have produced shock winners. I think the Tigers have a well shot at it. They have to paintings on their core relievers, in the event that they do get to the World Series. Their beginning pitchers have to begin pitching perhaps an inning longer in step with traditional to be competent to maintain the bull pin rested. That could be a mild medication for the core comfort disorders. The supervisor performs too lovable with calling an immoderate quantity of wasted pitches. The hitting has been instead well; they have got had occasions of mild slumps with their first 5 batters no longer complementing every different. I was once pondering the Tigers first 5 are frequently the quantity 2 or 3 within the league. But their subsequent 3 hitters look to be conserving their possess. I had was hoping to look a difference in relation to the DH, however it's the supervisor's name.

I see the Detroit Tigers winning the American League Championship and facing off with the Chicago Cubs in the World Series but I see the Cubs actually winning the World Series in 2007 over the Detroit Tigers in six games.

this might be a little cliche but i really think the yankees have a really good shot this year. they have a younger team now that they got rid of Randy Johnson and brought back Andy Pettitte who I believe is going to make a big difference. I think the Tigers will win the division though.

I see them making the playoffs, even getting as far as the ALCS.

But if they play The Yankees, I'd be worried.
The yanks will want to get even, and will be ready for them.

They may not win the WS this year, but they will in a year or two.

They need to win their division first, but they do have a good chance to do so. If they get to the World Series, they need to perform better than they did last year if they expect to win.

Chow!!

They are my pick even though I am an Indians fans. But it is baseball. 6 whole months of ballin'. Can't wait. The best team definitely comes out of the AL Central this year.

playoffs - yes - world series - man I hope so. I hope they are like the 68 team that came so close in 67 - then came back and kicked butt in 68

I don't think they can win. Kenny Rogers isn't getting younger and I don't think they could do what they did last year. The Yankees however will win in 2007.
