which is a better school all around, ucsb or uci?

just wondering wat you think. giving reasons why would be helpfull haha

Pretty much a tossup. UCSB has a better party scene. Santa Barbara is really pretty, but Irvine is nice too. Irvine doesn't have as much charm, but it's in the Greater Los Angeles area so you can drive to other fun stuff in SoCal. UCI has a better rep, but the diff is so small as to be negligible.

It really depends on what you're looking for. Irvine is more in the middle of a big metropolis. SB is more isolated.
