It could be your baby...congrats!!!
It's kinda hard to get the baby to move when you want it to. With my baby, whenever someone wants to feel her move...she stops as soon as their hand touches my belly.

Yes, this can be the baby moving. I first felt my baby move at 16 weeks. Now, about making he or she move when you want it to; you kinda can and kinda not. When you do feel it move, you can gentle poke where you felt the movement or have you bf hum into your stomach. When you get further along, you will fell the movements better and then even poke at it and play with it too. It is cool, I can feel my baby's feet and he will kick when I push a little. It is so cool!

At 4 months you could be feeling the baby move, the first movements will resemble little air bubbles popping or even butterflys...the movements will get stronger with the passing weeks and you will eventually wish they were back to mild ones like you feel now...nothing better than having a foot wedged into your rib cage at 1am...lol... The way my doc usually gets my babies to move if they are being stubborn is by getting me to drink freezing cold water...this seems to wake them up a little...dont be to dissapointed if your partner cant feel baby move yet though, they cant normally feel it till you have been feeling it for awhile...depending aswell on if you are carring excess weight around your tummy (I'm guilty of this...hehehe)
Good luck and congrats!

congrats! Yes it is the baby moving, it feels like a butterfly in there right now huh? I had that with my first pregnancy. As the baby got bigger I found that when I drank something really cold and sugary she seemed to move a lot more. Congrats again, and enjoy!

No, it moves when it wants to, and I first felt mine at 18 weeks, 4 1/2 months so you're not too early.

When you get a little bigger, you can GENTLY prod the baby. That may get it to move. Mine used to put her feet in uncomfortable positions for me (into my ribs) and I would just push her back - she would move. Each kid is different though. Enjoy it all, I miss those baby movement feelings!
