You don't have to have a lawyer to write up an NDA, but lawyers generally leave less loopholes in them. I put a link below to a generic NDA that you should be able to access online. That will give you a good starting point, at least.

For your own protection, you may want to have the document notarized, though this is usually not necessary. Though nobody is allowed to walk through the building I work in without signing an NDA, we have never gone to the extreme of requiring notarization ourselves.

You can definitley write your own. You could even search the web. Some websites have free ones you can copy and paste or even download. The important thing to remember is that it must be notarized. This is what makes it what it is. I use non-disclosures on a daily basis in my business and we never use the same one. This gives us the chance to add or not include anything we want.

A 'non disclosure' contract AKA confidentiality contract AKA inner most disclosure contract AKA proprietary thoughts contract is a freelance between both of you, that keeps one or both activities from liberating the thoughts that is interior the contract. A non-compete is an contract the position one (typically an worker) consents no longer to pursue an analogous career or commerce in competition with you. you pick no non compete right here. If the internet web site clothier has been interior the organisation for lengthy, they'll be acquainted with a NDA. The NDA might want to be laid out so as that it contains that no longer in common words will they no longer exhibit, yet that they could on no account USE the thoughts interior the contract. i do not see an internet site clothier agreeing to at least some thing so restricting because the non compete. i'd spend the money and enable an lawyer draw up the NDA. A mistake will be disasterous.
