Herbert Hoover was considered to be a very attractive man. He was elected in the first election in which women were allowed to vote. Men of the time pointed to that fact to try to claim that women didn't vote relevantly. Time has proven that wrong, but this is what they claimed in the day. In the end, Hoover became one of the worst presidents in history. The Great Depression hit under his watch, and the villages of cardboard boxes became known as "Hooverville's."
Kennedy was the youngest, but IMO, not especially attractive.

J.F.K.! If we are going by how they looked while in office. Which is really how they'll be remembered. Clinton looked better after he left office. Gore was attractive in 1992. He put on some weight later and of course when the Supreme Court picked Monkey Boy then he did the Grizzley Adams thing.
Abe Lincoln looked like he had been in a concentration camp. Very gaunt. Taft was very obese. Gerald Ford was a very attractive young man who had the misfortune of early male pattern baldness. Jimmy Carter was a separated at birth member of the Osmond family. So yeah, JFK was quite fine.

That's hard to say but I have to look into how each president was and I favor our Founding Fathers, we are all here today not only by God, but by these men forming our nation and protecting it.

If you looked at all of them at the age of 40, I would have to say Ronald Reagan.
