It's just when she is fed and her diaper is changed and I have played with her and leave her in the bouncer seat and walk out of the room for a quick second she cries adn when I return she stops. She does this too when I put her down after holding her.

No...You cannot spoil a baby! A one month old cries to COMMUNICATE and NOT to manipulate. Remember that just 4 short weeks ago she was inside you. Just 4 short weeks ago, she could see/hear/smell/taste/feel you every second of every day. Now, when she can't sense you, it is very strange for her. Imagine waking up to find that your leg is gone. That's kind of what it's like for her when she can't sense you. She doesn't fully understand yet that you are two separate people. AND she doesn't know that you still exhist when she can't sense you yet.

At this young age, being held is a true NEED. And it's GOOD for her. Don't worry about spoiling her. Something that is spoiled has been left on a shelf to rot, ignored. NOT someone that is given attention and love and had her needs met.

She is too young to be "spoiled." Babies learn to "manipulate" around 6 months, at which point the attention could be considered spoiling, but not that youn. She justs wants some loving! My son (5 months old now) was the same way for the 1st couple of months. He did not want to be put down - ever! I would put him in his swing or bouncy seat more often but for shorter periods of time. He gradually adjusted and now plays happily on his own for a little while.

This happened to me with my 4 month old baby. When he didn't see me in the room he'd cry. as soon as I came back he'd stop crying. It's been going away little by little. So I guess u just have to be patient. I've also been told that u can't spoil a baby so soon.

I don't think she is "spoiled"--I think that's an attitude that only older kids can display. BUT BUT BUT she may have a BAD HABIT of wanting to be held 24/7, which you as the parent must help her break. Leave the room when you need to; let her cry for a few minutes. It won't hurt her.

Yes she is too young to be spoiled she is just used to being comforted. When you put her down and leave the room she is just "scared" because everything around her is so big and different.

it's a good thing. perhaps not go back in there everytime. she has to trust you that you will return. perhaps she doesn't like the bouncer. try putting her in something else. one month is awful young to be spoiled. do you hold her all the time? ask yourself that. if so ween her a little at a time. she loves her mommy. and it probably feels real good to know she wants you all the time. but it probably is nerve racking to know you can't take a bathroom break w/out her on your hip. but trust me it should work

No!!! One month olds can't be spoiled!!! She knows you, she recognizes you, she NEEDS YOU!!! Try buying a baby carrier like a "snugglie" so you can carry her around hands free. Whe has been used to you carrying her around her whole life. She likea the sound of your heart. Enjoy this while you can!

No, a child can't be spoiled at that age. At that age, babies just really need their mother all the time.
