It depends on what one defines as good, and what one defines as death. Speaking in a sense of spiritual rebirth, death can be a positive thing. If you have spent most of your life just doing what you're told, and you haven't lived it for yourself; then, in a sense of fulfilling your spiritual customs of exploring your own curiousity as an individual, perhaps death could be the most important, rewarding experience one could come to anticipate. Spiritually speaking, if you are satisfied with your life, and you do not wish to change the flow of it's direction, then I should say that death is still good, because it gives you a reason to live. Now what could possibly be worth dying for?

Death is WONDERFUL because it means BIRTH at the same time. Ask the parents of a recently born child, who has just died to the "womb world", and is born to the physical world if they are not exhilarated about the event.
Although the unborn child, when still in the womb of his mother, may be apprehensive about "dying", which for him means coming to this physical world, and leaving behind a very comfortable world, the womb, his parents who have a higher knowledge are happy about the prospect. They know that he is about to enter a new dimension of life infinitely more glorious than the small and confined world in which he was living.

Death is. Good and bad are but perseptions of value on what is, so is death good is a question of personal perseption. If death seams too hard of a topic to peresive then look at it's componets. Death is the end of life, good or bad. Death gives life to others, good or bad. It is the inevitable end to all life, but through it life is sustained. This leaves one with a large perdicument when trying to diside whether or not death is good or bad. Maby death just is and it is our dission to percive it as good or bad. Thus I sudjest changing your question. When is death good and when is it bad? That may help you understand your views more clearly.

Death is neither good nor bad. It is beyond our own definitions of morality or justice. It is just death. It is an ending. Or (if you believe in an after life and are lucky enough to be right) a beginning.

Well no. It's a necessary part of the life cycle. But I hate losing someone I love & I'm not ready to go myself. If you believe in the afterlife then it's good in the sense that you go to Heaven to live for eternity & are reunited with loved ones (provided you lived a good life & didn't commit any mortal sins that would condemn you to Hell...) But it's still sad for those left behind.

Sure. I certainly wish to live life experiencing all of the love and joy I can but this isn't the end purpose of the experience. So I also look forward to the next assignment God has for me.

There are opinions and there is change. Death is a change. 'Good' and 'bad' are opinions. Death cannot be an opinion so it cannot be good or bad.

It's just a part of life. Since everyone will die someday, I suppose it is a good thing. It doesn't seem good, but we die for a reason.
