I got invited to a Network Marketing presentation years ago, its pyramid selling and its a con, steer well clear, even if you do sell the over-priced crap they want you to it'll be for peanuts, it'll be masses of work for very little reward, theres always others taking a cut above you, the sums look great about bonus levels but if you do the math to hit level 7 you'd have to be selling close on half a million pounds a week worth of stuff - and thats unlikely.

For an MLM / Network Marketing opportunity to work you need Affordable Products That Sell Well And Marketing Systems That Work !!
1. You need products that sell like Chocolates at Easter-Time, Toys at Christmas, Turkeys on Thanksgiving or Cold Drinks during a summer heat-wave.
2. The products must be AFFORDABLE to most people, EVERYBODY must be able to afford to buy them and the products MUST be consumable, so they generate REPEAT BUSINESS (this is SO important!)
3. You can't be asking your prospects to pay anything up-front, like an associate joining or registration fee, or be made to buy some kind of “Business starter kit”. (That’s a No -No!)
4. The business system, support system and marketing plan must be SO SIMPLE and is MUST BE very EASY TO FOLLOW, so that even a complete novice should be able to generate healthy, on-going, weekly earnings within just a few short months

After trying 4 programs over the last 20 years I will sum it up for you quickly:
You will run your butt off for the person upline from you to make a few lousy bucks and you will wind up buying a bunch of products to meet your quotas. You will develop health problems and ruin your marriage. Read genuine non paid reviews here:

And start working online instead. the potential is great and the water is fine!

my professor believes that network marketing is the way of the future...and i believe him. it is very very effective.
oh, and about the pyramid scam... i think you should do more background check before signing up to join a network marketing organization. chexk about the company background, the product they offer and etc...

Well, Just about every corporation in america is now in network marketing...Bank of America has used it and most companies today hire "Affiliates" (same think as network marketers) to sell thier products.
IT is a great way to move product, but unfortunately many people never make any money at it because it involves alot of work to be good at it.
Most network marketing companies give the false impression that join and you will be a millionaire in no time!
Sorry, but only a few make it to millionaire status in network marketing, and the reason they have make it is because they have worked their *** off for years to build a huge network of people who trust them, then when a new company comes along they will all join under him...ect...
There are some fantastic network marketing companies out there and if you are going to go that route, choose one that has been around for at least 5 years, no matter what someone tells you. Most dont make it past 5 years, if they do, good chance you can make some money with them if you work, work, work, and then work and make no money for a while.
Again that is the reason most people quickly quit..most of us work and we get paid..work and we get paid, work and we get paid..if we stop working we dont get paid...in network marketing it is alot different...it goes like this
work, work work work work work work work...get paid a little ($10.00 bucks) work work work work work (get paid $100.00) Most people have quit by now...work work work work..(ooo get 300.00) work work work ...make $1000.00 Work work ...get 3000.00...work get paid...work get paid...Than after a few years it goes... get paid get paid get paid...work ...get paid get paid get paid get paid..take a vacation..get paid get paid..log into your back office on your laptop in jamacia...get paid..send a few emails..work....get paid get paid .. :)
The problem is most people are told they will make all this money but thier sponsor forgets to tell them they will have to work for quite a while and not make much money and have alot of people tell them to take a hike, not intersted...
Because of all the "Get rich attitudes in MLM" or Network marketing which both mean the same...Many people have been lied to or lost money so they are sour...
It is not that MLM or Network marketing doesnt work...because it has been successfully for over 50 years...IT is the "Hype" and false promises and misinformation about what it takes to make it... WHEW...
This was by far my longest Yahoo answer...Please pick me as the best because it is :)
I am actully thinking of getting back into MLM after a couple of years off...I have found a very reputable company that is stable and has a unique product...
One last piece of advise..if the person talks more about the money than the product...DONT JOIN...
It is the product that will make or break you...
If you are interested in talking to me about this ...more
