take a small pocket knife and push the cork into the bottle...it's better then trying to break it apart getting it out and having a million pieces of cork in your wine

Hopefully you have a pocketknife. Otherwise...push the cork in, instead of pulling it out, that might work.

do you have a ice tea spoon, one of those really long ones, tried a knife one time, ugh, all the cork broke off into the wine
